I get your point and i agree to most of it - there are a lot of self improvement grifters. However! You have to believe in yourself and who you think you can become in order to improve.

Also, have you tried waking up early, exercising for everyday for a month or any other “self improvement” action? If so, how did it go? If not, how can you lump all the genuine self-help, motivational, inspirational people in with all the snake-oil salesmen? I guess i am asking; on what experience and merits do you give your self-improvement advice? 🙃

Hi Kasper. Believing in the self is a societal construct that guilt trips we, helpless modern men, not able to control the circumstances and economic pressure under a hyper capitalistic society into believing that it is due to our own failures to 'set things right'. In fact, most of the global population are born into unfortunate economic circumstances, in which the majority are from the developing world. Take, a middle to lower income person in China, by taking up multiple jobs to keep up with the rising cost of living, there simply are too much to catch up.

Waking up early, having enough time to exercise is in fact a concept that only the fortunate side of the world is able to experience. It is a privilege. Most people around the world have multiple jobs and are waking up early than most of the self-help motivators. I believe that true salvation to transcend into the ubermensch lies within able to come to reality with the uncontrollable nature of our existence, and thus discarding the self-improvement that blinds us with the actual awakening of the soul.

Anyway, glad that you read my blog post, haven't been able to check it out for a long time. Thank you Kasper for your comments.
